Peter Stieglmayr, LMHC, LPC, CASAC
President / Founder
Peter Stieglmayr is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor based in New York. He specializes in helping adults manage a wide range of mental health concerns, from stress and anxiety to more complex emotional and behavioral challenges.

Peter is trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and integrates evidence-based approaches to help clients develop insight, build coping skills, and create meaningful change. With experience across non-profit agencies, community mental health programs, and private practice, he brings both clinical depth and practical understanding to his work.

Peter earned his master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and holds additional certification in DBT. As President and Founder of Living Hope Mental Health Counseling, he is dedicated to fostering a supportive environment where clients and clinicians alike can grow and thrive.

Jaclyn Gioffre, LMHC, MBA
Clinical Director
Jaclyn Gioffre is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in New York, NY, and the Clinical Director of Living Hope Mental Health Counseling. She works with teens, young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Known for her warm, insightful approach, Jaclyn often incorporates humor to help clients feel comfortable as they explore meaningful change.

Jaclyn values authenticity in the therapeutic process and isn’t afraid to gently challenge her clients when it supports growth. Her work is grounded in evidence-based practices, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She emphasizes the therapeutic relationship as the foundation for meaningful, lasting progress.

Jaclyn brings experience from both partial hospitalization and private practice settings, allowing her to adapt her approach to a wide range of client needs. She earned her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Iona University and holds an MBA. She has also served as an Instructor of Abnormal Psychology at Iona University.
